Stinging Insects


Did you know that stinging insects send more than 500,000 people to the emergency room each year? Unlike some stinging insects, wasps are known for their unprovoked aggression. Hornets, wasps, black bees, carpenter bees and yellow jackets are very common in Connecticut.  

Nests can be found in numerous areas such as in the ground, gutters, grills, exterior of the home, patio furniture and even on interior of the homes and in the walls.
